Solo Photoshoot in Austria
Travelling Austria alone is worth documenting properly, and no selfie stick manages it. An hour with a professional gets you the angles you cannot reach yourself: you under the arches of the Michaelerplatz at dawn, on the Kapuzinerberg with Salzburg's domes below, on the bridge over the Inn with Innsbruck's coloured houses and the Nordkette behind you, alone on the Hallstatt shore before the first boat. Sessions start from €279, one- to two-hour packages roughly €279-€450. Most solo travellers tell us the hour itself became a highlight — being shown around by a local, laughing at the posing directions. Good for milestone trips, a reset, a new profile picture, or simply proof that you were here and it was beautiful.

I'm shy in front of the camera — will I look awkward?
This is the most common worry and it usually disappears within ten minutes. Our photographers direct movement rather than poses: walk towards me along the quay, look back over your shoulder, adjust your scarf, laugh at how silly that instruction sounds. Motion photographs as confidence. Nobody will ask you to gaze meaningfully into the lens unprompted. Timing helps too — an early slot means fewer onlookers, and Vienna's arcades or the back lanes of Salzburg feel private even in season. Read the reviews on any Photo Austria profile and you will keep seeing the same arc: I was so nervous, and these are the best photos anyone has taken of me.
How many photos will I receive?
Every photographer states the number of edited photos and the delivery time in their package on Photo Austria, so you know before you book rather than after. What is true across the board: each image in your gallery is individually edited for colour, light and skin tone, not a raw dump with a few good frames hidden inside, and a single hour produces real variety — wide frames that show where you are, walking shots, close portraits, and details you never noticed being taken. Delivery is a private online gallery you download at full resolution. Longer sessions produce proportionally more, because the setup time does not repeat.
Can I use the photos for my blog or social media?
Yes. Personal use comes with every session and covers Instagram, TikTok, your blog, dating profiles, LinkedIn and printed albums. You get high-resolution files with no watermark. Crediting your photographer is appreciated but never required. If the content earns money — sponsored posts, brand partnerships, a monetised channel — that is commercial use, and it is worth saying so when you book: many of our photographers work with creators and offer commercial licensing or a dedicated content session with formats planned for vertical video. Say what you need in the Photo Austria booking chat and you will be matched with the right person for it.
What if I want both portrait and landmark photos?
That is how a good solo session is built, so you do not have to choose. Your photographer plans a moving route that alternates: a wide establishing frame of you small under the Hofburg or on the Hallstatt shore, then a close portrait in a doorway two minutes later, then candid walking shots between the two. Austrian cities make this easy because the scenery changes every fifty metres — a square, an arcade, a bridge, a courtyard. If you care more about one side, say so at the start: mostly strong portraits for a professional profile, with a few postcard frames for family, shifts the balance immediately. The gallery will cover both ends properly.
