I am Ian — a vienna-based photographer and videographer. I have photographed and filmed weddings across Austria and abroad: Palais Niederösterreich, Schloss Grafenegg and Schloss Halbturn, but also Trieste, Basel, Abu Dhabi and Phuket. What makes me different is simple: I both shoot photo and film. With a second hybrid shooter, you can have two perspectives in stills and motion. No separate video crew following you around, no second team to brief, no two invoices to reconcile. Two people, both cameras — which means fewer strangers in your day and one consistent look across everything you receive. My style is documentary with an editorial finish. I stay out of the way for the real moments and step in only where it counts: light, framing, and the handful of portraits you will actually put on a wall. No stiff posing, no shot-list theatre. I work in English, German and Tagalog. Many of my couples come from abroad, and I have photographed everything from a small civil ceremony to multi-day celebrations with their own rituals and running order — so I know when to be ready and when to step back, without needing everything explained twice. I am also used to guiding people who are marrying in a city they do not know yet: locations, realistic timings, and the quiet corners of Vienna that photograph best in the hour before sunset.
